This Privacy Policy describes how Seth Lachman ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Still Good.

1. Information We Collect

Still Good is designed to function locally on your device. Most data you enter into the app never leaves your device.

Information stored on your device

  • Food item names, expiration dates, notes, and locations
  • Reminder schedules and notification preferences

This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Automatically collected limited technical information

When you use the app, we may receive limited, non-identifying technical information, including:

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • General diagnostic and crash information
  • A pseudonymous device identifier used for analytics (for example, identifier for vendor)
  • Pseudonymous usage events (such as screen views or feature usage, purchase starts, purchase success, and restore success)
  • Push notification delivery status

This information does not include the food items you track and is not used to personally identify you.

We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or other personal content unless you voluntarily contact support.

Subscription and payment data (Still Good Pro)

If you choose Still Good Pro, we and our subscription service providers may process limited subscription metadata, such as:

  • Subscription entitlement status (active or inactive)
  • Subscription product identifier (such as monthly or yearly)
  • Subscription expiration and restore status

We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Purchases are billed through your Apple ID account.

2. How We Use Information

  • Ensure reminders and notifications function correctly
  • Diagnose crashes and app errors
  • Understand general feature usage trends
  • Improve performance, reliability, and usability
  • Process monthly or yearly subscription entitlement status and restores

We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles or track you across other apps or websites.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your information.

We may share limited technical data with service providers that help operate the app, such as:

  • Apple (for App Store billing, subscription management, and purchase processing)
  • RevenueCat (for subscription entitlement and restore state)
  • analytics providers (for pseudonymous usage events)
  • crash reporting services
  • push notification delivery services

These providers process data only on our behalf and only for operating and improving the app.

Push Notifications

Still Good uses local and system push notifications to remind you about food expiration dates.

To deliver notifications, your device may generate a push notification token that is handled by Apple’s Push Notification service (APNs). We do not use this token to identify you and it is not linked to your personal identity.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

4. Data Retention

Food item data remains only on your device and is removed when you delete the app or clear the app’s data.

Technical diagnostic data may be retained by our service providers for a limited period solely for reliability and operational analysis.

Subscription records and billing history are retained by Apple and subscription processing providers according to their legal and operational requirements.

5. Security

Since your food-item content remains on your device, your data exposure is reduced. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. Account and Data Deletion

Still Good does not require account creation.

You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can disable notifications in your device settings.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • You can contact us at hello@bloomsignallabs.com with privacy questions.

8. Children's Privacy

Still Good is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International Users

If you use the app outside the United States, anonymized technical data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will include a revised last updated date.
